SMART Board Revolution

A Revolution in Education

Hi I teach in a Distance Education School. Many students in my class are travelling or in remote areas. Some have IPODS. I am very comfortable creating learning materials using Notebook 10 that can be used on an Interactive Whiteboard or on a laptop.

I want to know if there is a way to transfer to IPODS and retain the interractivity of the resource. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hola!

I know you can set an iPod for disk-access - meaning you can use it as a portable storage device (like a USB key) fairly easily. I have my iPod's set this way. Then you can copy lessons on and off of the iPod's as needed.

For a portable Notebook software solution - I can recommend putting the installation files on the iPod as well (I wouldn't actually install the software on it, but leave the packages on it for installing on PC's). There will be a better solution during the new school year - I can't say much on the subject yet - but keep your eyes peeled for some new changes in that regard.

The only other recommendation I can make is to create a video of your lessons and you can save them as Podcasts for iPods (or as true video files).
