Permalink Reply by Valia Reinsalu on April 9, 2012 at 8:23am Hi. I was wondering if the new Notebook 11 has the feature to change the orientation of each page eg. from horizontal to vertical and back to horizontal again. I am able to adapt by rearranging items on a page. Still, sometimes content lends itself better to one orientation over the other. A quick click would be awesome. :)
I use both Mac (Powerbook) and PC (HP Probook 6560b) - and 10.8 vs.
Just wonderin',

There is no function in Notebook 11 to switch between the page from a Portrait and Landscape and back to Portrait view. The closest to what you are requesting is selecting "Extend Page" to to turn a Landscape into Portrait. Permalink Reply by Tom Burau on May 7, 2012 at 1:23pm My board is out of focus and I can't get it back into focus using the scoll on the bottom of the projector. I've looked through the menu options using the remote but still nothing.
HELP....
Permalink Reply by Ian Berg on May 8, 2012 at 3:32pm What is the model name of the projector and is it on a boom with the projected image aligned closely along all four sides?
Permalink Reply by Obe Hostetter on May 9, 2012 at 6:42pm Some ideas to try:
1. Set the resolution on your computer to 1024 X 768. Try different resolutions.
2. Change the keystone using the remote.
3. Check and see if you have a plastic cover over your projector bulb. That fixed the focus problem for one of my teachers....:)

Greetings! I am a SMART Certified Trainer here in Illinois. I did a training yesterday and noted that in NB 11 when in full screen mode, you have to scroll down the page in order to see all of a page. I am finding this annoying. I don't remember having this problem in NB v10.8. I tried the various viewing options but did not find one that was good (extend page makes it too small). Thoughts??? THX!
Permalink Reply by Karen Chichester on June 19, 2012 at 11:21am I just upgraded to SMART notebook 11 on my personal laptop that is NOT connected to my SMART Board since I am home for the summer. I am running Windows 7. Is there a way to stop it from launching on Startup? I noticed that it does not appear in the Startup group, so deleting the shortcut doesn't work like it did for 10/ It just takes up too many processes to keep it running if I am not using it.
Thanks,
Karen Chichester

I am having a problem with an HP 6560b computer connected to an 800 series board. The software is up to date (including firmware on the board), an image projects, but the light on the tray continues to flash green. Software has been uninstalled and reinstalled and I have checked for updates on drivers. Anyone else experiencing this problem and have you fixed the issue? Any assistance is appreciated!
Permalink Reply by Obe Hostetter on January 3, 2013 at 10:50am Have you tried the connection wizard or going into the SMART control panel and running the connection wizard?
Permalink Reply by CM on January 3, 2013 at 12:26pm All of the above. We are now down to the computer not recognizing the board at all. We are just trying to determine if it is an isolated laptop incident or something with the update. Hearing additional reports of problems after updating with different laptop models so not sure exactly.
