SMART Notebook 10.8

Notebook 10.8 is available for download. From my understanding, it was released in order to fix a few bugs associated with the dual touch SB800 series. Does anyone know if it has any benefits for SMART users of SB660 or older boards?

Well I thought it was a Notebook file with images, so since it's a PDF, is she writing on top of the PDF directly? or did she use the document writer to import it into Notebook?

 

If she used the document writer, then the file is already optimized, it's just a matter of quantity of pages that could be making the file that large.

 

Your suggested steps (divide the Notebook file) are the best steps to take at this time to see what happens, but other than the actual file, 10.8 is fine correct?

She used the SMART Notebook Print Capture "printer" to get it in to the Notebook file.  She's currently running 10.7 because of the lag time when writing in 10.8.

Is the lag happening only with this file? or all files? if it's only this file, can you send it to me so I can try it on my Windows XP machine?

 

We might have to take this to e-mail corrispondance, just to try and keep track of what's going on. Please send me your school e-mail and i'll contact you directly so we can try and resolve the issues that you're running into, which might be a mix of hardware and software.
