SMART Notebook 10.8+ Windows 7 + Airliner WS200

Has anyone had the problem of the airliner stop working in the middle of a lesson. Your stylus becomes a big white arrow and you can't do anything with the airliner until you go back to your mouse and click on a tool/button. Once you do that, the stylus becomes active again.
The second thing that has happened to use is that if you minimize anything, you can't open again using your stylus.

Any suggestions or thoughts??

I don't know if this will help but...

 

That big white arrow is one of the SMART tools used to point something out.  I have a feeling either one of the rocker buttons on your AirLiner or (more specifically) one of the invisible floating tools on your AirLiner (on the right, called the icon strip) is causing the problem.

 

You might want to disable the tool.  I think there are other ways out of it, but I dont have my work laptop here to check for you. 

 

But if you go into SMART Control Panel, I believe you will find the Icon Strip settings somewhere under the Hardware Settings (you will need your AirLiner connected for this).

 

You should see the /\ big arrow in the list of icon strip items.  Just remove it from the list and replace it with something else (if you use your icon strip items).
