Smart Board and Powerpoint--ink not showing/staying
I am running windows 7 and smartboard software 10. All of my smartboard software is up to date.
Today, when i went to write on a power point presentation, the ink would stay for 1 second then disapear. Nothing was touching the smart board to clear it, etc. It writes just fine on any other program, but in power point presentation, it wont stay. any advice?

Hi JC,
Would you be able to provide the actual version number of the software you have installed?
In the meantime, have you tried a blank powerpoint presentation? Also, are you trying to write in presentation mode or slide mode? what happens if you tried writing in both modes?

SMART Notebook 10.7.144.0
My problem is in presentation mode. It writes just fine in slide mode, but wont write in presentation mode.

I recommend you upgrade to 10.8 as ink aware tools have been improved to work properly with Office 2010 32-Bit

suggestions on how to do that. when i check for updates, it says their are none. does my school need to purchase this upgrade?

just go to the link below and download 10.8 package. Select Notebook and Drivers from the installer.
