Great meeting with great information. Thanks to Kerry Macuska from Learning Station Insight for presenting how this SMART Accredited Elite company can help us slash assessment time and focus our instruction on the state or Common Core Standards that students are weak in.
Tamara Fellows showed us how to add interactivity to the maps in the gallery in simple, but effective ways. Then she showed us a virtual whiteboard, scrumblr, that works great on the SMART Board. She demonstrated Study Blue and Quia for active assessment and review at home or on the board. And she got off track and showed us a great site for class texting option that is safe and free called Class Parrot.
I showed a trick for grouping and locking that can save time. Look for a short video soon.
This is the 6th meeting. I feel they are getting better each time. The chat questions and answers are great. The information is awesome! And the community is wonderful. Thanks for everyone who attends. I love doing these and "meeting" all of you.
