SMART Board Revolution

A Revolution in Education

When I use my Smartboard in the morning, often I have to restart the computer because if I open up a few programs (PowerPoint, Notebook, email, etc.) and touch the Smartboard to manipulate something, it automatically closes the program. I cannot figure out why it is doing this.  All my Notebook software, including drivers, is up to date. The only bright spot is that the program I touch will usually ask "Do you want to save?" before it closes and I can walk over to my computer and prevent it from closing. I can use my Slate without anything shutting down, but if I touch the Smartboard, programs close. It usually fixes itself if I restart the computer.

Question:  Are all the programs that close when you touch the SMART Board, are they all maximized windows?  If so, can you use your mouse to minimize a few windows and see if they close as well?
