Pen Tray
Anyone have an issue with their pen trays putting on a light show all day long? A teacher in my building has a board where the pen lights keep flashing. It will switch colors on her when she is in the middle of writing. Any thoughts are appreciated!

Hi Erin,
A couple things...
- Underneath the pen-tray, you should see a gray telephone-like cable and It should be plugged into one of two available slots. Try switching to the other empty slot and see if the behavior improves.
- Try swapping out the gray telephone-like cable itself with a known working one and see if the issue persists.
- Try swapping out the complete pen-tray with a known working one and see if the issue follows the pen-tray.
Once you've isolated that the pen-tray itself is defective, simply contact SMART Technologies Technical Support and they'd be happy to provide you with a replacement.
