A Revolution in Education
I recorded a sub lesson plan with Notebook11 with the new audio attachment. It was so smooth and easy. Now, I only need to use Audacity for my long drawn out audios. BUT, when I attempted to save the file on flash drive for a student who was not in the room for the lesson the audio did not come with it nor could I find it.
Are there any thoughts on having the audio save with the notebook file to avoid this inconvience.
Many teachers create at home and then transfer to school. This is a big bug.

Permalink Reply by Julie Baird on May 25, 2012 at 3:37pm The same thing happened to me and a colleague. She created a file using the built in audio recording. She saved the file on the network. A student opened it on another computer and the sound didn't play. I created a file also with the sound at school and saved it to my Dropbox account. At home I opened the file and there was no sound. I added some text to the file and saved it in Dropbox. Back at school the sound file played.
Is the audio for these short recordings saved somewhere other than in the file itself?
