A Revolution in Education
I've never used an Apple to create any lessons with Notebook, so I need your help!!! I have a teacher who wants to create notebook lessons at home on her Apple, save them to a flashdrive, then use the lessons on her PC in school. Can this be done??? Thanks for any suggestions!!!

There are a few small differences to be aware of when creating Notebook files on an Apple and using them on a PC.
1) Flash doesn't work well with the Apple. It bogs down the whole system. I would not add any flash items at home. Wait till she gets to school to add the flash.
2) The side bar that shows the pages or properties does NOT disappear. At least not in version 10.7.
3) My screen size is different on the Apple than on my PC. When creating lessons on my Mac, I leave the bottom 10-15% of the screen empty, i.e. I don't add any text or pictures there. On my PC that area isn't visible unless I scroll down and I'd rather change pages than scroll down.
4) Use the fonts that are on both systems. I haven't tried to use an Apple only font for years because I've had this Apple/home to PC/school combination for 5 years or more. I like some of the Apple fonts a lot but if my PC doesn't have it, it converts to to something else and usually not as pretty.
Your teacher shouldn't have a problem.
