A Revolution in Education

Few months away from deployment and things like this just makes me lose my sleep. Teachers are furstrated and things are not in our hands. We try our best not to say "its a software glitch, SB people have to sort it out" and we do our best for things to run smoothly by being vultures and trolls over at the forum boards.
Ofcourse, the latest being that the software patch actually made it worse! So now its back to un installing and re-installing and step by step analysis.
Attached are few screen shots of errors which came up while installing Notebook 10.8 on Mac OSX Lion. I'm not so sure what triggered it but I know that it ain't a good sign.
I'm sure there are plently of peeps here going through the same and any input on this is much appreciiated.

What model board are you using?
I'll tweet this and see what we can find out.

Any ideas?
Permalink Reply by Randy Tran on February 6, 2012 at 2:58pm Talking to our resident Mac Specialist, he thinks it might have something to do with a pre-existing plist file that may have stayed intact when you tried to install/re-install the program. That Clean uninstall is probably what fixed it since it most likely got rid of the problem plist file for the install.
Can you let me know if any other problems like that turn up?

Permalink Reply by Obe Hostetter on February 6, 2012 at 3:57pm I had one MAC laptop have similar issues to what you are describing. I can't remember what I did to fix it. I think I ran DIsk Utility-repair permissions and then uninstalled everything SMART. I would try using the ToolSet to clean up the computer before installing.
I then either installed Notebook 10.7 or Notebook 10.8 and it worked.
