I noticed last night, that the links were back up and wonder if you uninstall and then reinstall it now if they have the 'bugs' worked out this time.
However, I did try to update last night on my home computer (a PC) and it didn't work quite right for me, but I will try it again.
Good luck, my guess would be like Obe posted above, they had issues and caused problems.

For those who quickly downloaded Smart Response and would like to downgrade to Senteo 2.0, you can use the following guidelines, so far, they are working for me.

I would be catious when downloading Smart Response, It took two weeks of trial and error to get it fixed, with SMART working with me. I have loaded it on one machine (not my primary), and on Friday it didn't work right but I re-installed, deleting the files they recommended. I will try again on Tuesday.

What have been the results with Smart Response over the summer? I'm back to school next week and wondered whether most are going to keep using 2.0 or upgrade to Smart Response.
