new site for first grade lessons

There is a lovely first grade teacher named Sandra Donahue who has posted her SMART Board lessons on line so everyone can download them. She sent me the link and asked me to pass it along. I haven't even gotten through all of the lessons yet because there are so many. It's a great new resource.

It takes my fast connection about a minute or two to connect, and then things load and download slowly. I think the host server is slow. If you give it some time will it open?

I can't connect and I would love to have some of these lessons because I teach special needs children.

I can get to the site that has the parent index, but when I click on a link and it downloads the Zip file..I open it but can not find the notebook that opens to the smartboard. I get images and web pages, but can't find the way to open it to smartboard???

I wasn't able to open everything, but was able to see most of the files I tried. I have an e-mail out to Sandra, and I'm waiting to hear bif she has any ideas for helping us.

P.S. If any of you want some Jeopardy! games for phonics, I have some files uploaded to the sharing files section part of this wikki. I have a short vowel set, a long vowel set (use version 2), and an r-controlled and short vowel review set. Click on the File Sharing Tab, then manage wikki tab, then files. (I believe...) The files are large because they have a lot of flash applications.

I have tried to open this site several times but I just keep getting a message that that the page cannot be opened.

I heard back from Sandy and she said you just have to wait for the page to open. Maybe the error message is because the page is opening too slowly? I wish I could give everyone a good answer about this, but alas, I'm not too knowledgeable about this kind of thing.

The computer message on screen read"connection to server reset while page was loading." I will keep trying.

I too attempted to access the link but could not connect. I use Firefox and I have a high speed connection, but no luck whatsoever after three tries.

I used explorer, maybe that works better for some reason.
