SMART Board Revolution

A Revolution in Education

Hi all-

Tonight just added two new posts and two new files in my Box.net folder. One is dealing with an Interactive Word Wall and the other is centered around the Reading Street Scott Foresman Language Arts program.

These files are terrific. I shared them with my teachers...particularly like the Behavior Chart file, since we use that at our school, and the Morning Starter ideas. I like the idea of you linking straight from your SB file to the online Gradebook/Attendance Mgr.

Do you have any of your Everyday Math samples available, since we also use that program.

What grade do you teach? I made several Everyday Math Message starter activities for my first and second grade math teachers last year to get them started when they got their SMARTBoards in Oct.
I have Gr. 1, Units 4 & 5.
I also have Gr. 2, Units 3, 4, and 5.
They are just single page activities, but I tried to use the interactive tools as much as possible...then showed teachers how to add to them by using their Instructional Teacher's Guide CD to pull in sections from the Everyday Math lessons.

These aren't WOW! activities...just simple math lesson starters that were in the teacher's guide...I just put them in the Notebook software with visual aids and/or interactive objects. Here are three samples.
