SMART Board Revolution

A Revolution in Education

I so not know what I am doing wrong: I write a simple equation and it is recognized. I ask it to graph it, and it does. THEN..sometimes I can get it to generate a table from what I have done, and sometimes I can't. I do not know what I am doing wrong. I select both the equaiton and the graph and it shows it as linked, but the create a table function is greyed out. I know it works, as I have done it. Any hints to what I might be doing wrong?
thanks

Hi Dee,

I would suspect its probably not what your doing thats causing the loss. Notebook Math (is very cool!) but also a little fincky. Does it do this with the same equation each time as well? Or is there a specific equation format it doesnt like.
Hi Lloyd

I was using y = -x and since that day, I have used this equation and a few others just as simple and it is working. I am wondering now if maybe I did not check the red check before I graphed it. I am not sure. It seems to be working now, so it was either a simple thing I did (or did not do) or it was living up to its name of beta and expect the flaws. thanks for taking the time to respond.
