A Revolution in Education
I have had the pleasure of being a part of an exciting new program at Trinity University of DC. Trinity University is one of the nation's oldest and most respected universities.
In 2010-2011, the University rolled out a general SMARTBoard Lesson Design Course and now are rolling out Level I and Level II courses.
Plans include an online SMARTBoard Course as well.
As you can imagine, a large university can offer multiple courses at the same time on various weeknights as well as Saturdays. This allow for more flexibility for instructors.
This past summer, there were two sections of SMARTBoard Lesson Design. Next summer, there may be the need based on enrollment for several courses being taught at the same time requiring a number of qualified instructors.
I have recommended that the University seek SEE to serve as Adjunct Instructors since SEE status is the gold standard for SMARTBoard teachers.
If you are interested in becoming an Adjunct Instructor at the University teaching SMARTBoard Lesson Design, here is the contact info:
Ms. Erin McHenry Director of Continuing Education Trinity University of DC 125 Michigan Avenue, N.E. Washington, D.C., 20017 Email: McHenryE@trinitydc.edu Office: (202) 884-9313.
The Professor pay rate is competitive and the Education Dept is very supportive
