How many items in the gallery?
Sadly, my Vista using machine is having notebook issues and I needed to delete my gallery. I thought the "stock" version had 6000+ items, but I am only showing 5302. What am I missing?

Gallery Essentials for me is 6708 as well.
Update Gallery - Checking Categories
Start Notebook > Click on the Gallery Tab > Yellow Wrench icon beside the search box at the top.
Check for Updates > Gallery Essentials
In here make sure everything is checked and run through the install. If everythign is checked and nothing installs - you can do a full re-install of the gallery. But I would recommend doing this overnight or something.
To re-install:
Uncheck everything, follow the prompts and wait a while

Edit: You are 1406 items short. Maybe these categories are missing?
Geography 1058
Admin 101
Sports 159
Special Needs 87 ---- totals 1404.

Thanks for the response. The update is "unable to locate the status of the gallery", so it will not allow the update. Have spoken w/ SMART, but still no solution. I've reinstalled, but still short. They are working on it.
