A Revolution in Education
Could you elaborate more on the situation? Are you experiencing an issue where your slate isn't connecting? Or perhaps a situation where the slate connects but does not work?
A little more information will get the ball rolling.
Finds, but doesn't connect even though it says its connected. Thank you !!!!!
If you are using Windows, you may need to change the slate's configuration so that it is handled as an interface device.
Once you have the slate "connected" to the computer, you need to access your device listings. On Windows XP, you can do this through Bluetooth devices. On Windows 7, you can access Bluetooth Devices or Devices and Printers through the Windows Control Panel to locate the device listing for the slate. Once you find it right on it and select Properties (Or click on the properties button if there is one.)
From there, access the services and then make sure that HID Drivers is selected (its the only option there)
Once this is done, you should be able to use the slate as it should be used.
I am using OS X 10.8.2 for Mac.
In that case, can you try connecting that slate to a different computer and see if it works? I just want to verify whether or not it is your computer or the slate.
