SMART Board Revolution

A Revolution in Education

One of the teachers in our building called me to her room yesterday and her screen was blue tinged but in the background you could faintly make out what was supposed to be on the screen. Does this mean the bulb is going out or has anyone had this happen to them? Thanks.

In the menu for my projector there is options for various surfaces eg white board, blackboard....maybe she has inadvertently switched? The colours do change if you select these.  Just an idea. May be another problem.

We have had different colors on our projector for different reasons.  Most times we find the problem is with the cables or projector settings.

1. Unhook the cables from the computer to the projector and hook them back in.  If the cables are loose, you can get different colors on your projector.

2. Reset the projector's colors back to default or adjust them.

3. If you use a MAC computer, sometimes the white adapter that connects the computer to the projector can go bad.  Replacing this $20 white adapter usually fixes the problem.

4. Try different computer resolutions and refresh rates.
