A Revolution in Education
500 Series SMART Board Connection Issue
I have a teacher with a 500 series SMART Board using a Mac laptop with OS 10.7.5 and Notebook 10.8.238.0.
The SMART Board will not connect to the computer. The ready light is solid red.
Do we need to install a driver or a patch?
Can you tell me where to download this driver?
Would appreciate any help.

Software patches can be downloaded from http://www.smarttech.com/Support/Browse+Support/Download+Software/S...
After installing the patch, restart the computer. If that doesn't fix it, I would reinstall the software.

Hi Greg,
Here is the patch you need. It's a 64 bit patch for the fru serial to usb cable.
