A Revolution in Education
Need some help please.
Hi and firstly I'd like to say how HAPPY I have found you all! You amaze me. I've been on a rollercoaster learning journey for about 6 months with getting in to the web2.0 world and at times feel like I am out of control.
I have had a smartboard in my classroom for a little over a year and love it!
What I need though is some help and direction. My kids are beginning to experiment with using the recording function on the smartboard and tonight I've learnt about freescreencast (thanks Matt!) and would love to use these in my class blog to share their learning with families and the wider school community. This is where I get stuck. My blog is with globalteacher and I continually have difficulty in embedding into my blog. Not only videos into posts but also widgets. I tried to embed the badge for this ning and am not able to come up with the badge? What am I doing wrong? Is there someone who can help me or point me in the right direction?

Jim Hollis and Harvey Almarode bring you a scary episode of Get SMART with SMART Boards. This week Jim and Harvey share some Halloween resources for teachers to use with their SMART Board. Harvey begins by sharing is thoughts on the Living Sasquatch website. This website allows you to incorporate your webcam to bring a living Sasquatch onto your SMART Board. Jim's website recommendation is Oswego City School's interactive games which include some great Halloween themed Math games. Jim and Harvey also share some creepy Halloween Notebook files including Jim's Halloween Safety House. The podcast concludes with a challenge from Harvey to create a 3D hole in a 3D rectangle using the tools in the Notebook toolbar.
