missing lesson activity toolkit

Previously I had 9.5 on my home pc and over the weekend I have installed notebook 10. Everything is working great!
My problem began 3 weeks ago at school on my intel mac with 10.4 with a previous version of notebook 9.7 . I uninstalled the entire notebook software including the gallery..., went to smarttech's website and followed the instructions for the download and install of notebook 10. Everything looked fine but I did not use it for longer than a few minutes. Today I looked at it much more closely and I have not got the Lesson activity toolkit. What did I do wrong? I totally uninstalled and reinstalled and still no activity toolkit. I emptied the trash and restarted- everything and anything I could think of I have tried but to no avail. Does anyone have a suggestion? Everything else on the mac notebook 10 seems to be there.

You have to install the udpated Toolkit separately on a MAC. Download and install the updated Toolkit which has all the "cool" flash objects like the multiple-choice test, matching, hot spots at http://education.smarttech.com/ste/en-US/Ed+Resource/Software+Resou...

I have updated and the activity toolkit is installed. I am curious though, did I miss something in the main pdf download instructions or on the download itself that told me I needed to do this? I am usually pretty aware on these kinds of things. THANKS AGAIN!

Somewhere I read that the Windows install includes the Toolkit but the Mac install is a separate install.

Here are the basic directions I do on my Smartboard Notebook upgrade installs on Macs 10.4
Upgrading Old versions of Notebook Directions:
1. Go to mactinosh HD-Applications-Notebook and run the uninstaller. If the computer has Notebook v. 9.5, it won't have this step.
2. Go to macintosh HD-APplications-Smartboard Software folder and run the uninstaller.
3. GO to macintosh HD-Applications-Smart Product Update and run the uninstaller.
4. Download and install Notebook software 10 drivers from http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-US/Support/Downloads/SBS/Mac/NBSv10...
5. Restart the computer
6. Download and install Notebook software 10. Register the Smartboard software using a Product key:

10. Go to macintosh HD-Applications-Smart Board Drivers folder. Rename "SMART Board Tools" to "new SMART BOARD Tools" so you don't get the floating tools on the left side of your screen that can't be moved and in my case are on top of my dock.
11. Load up Notebook (Macintosh HD-Applications-Notebook Software-Notebook. CLick on activate if it asks.

Note: If you get an error saying you still have notebook when trying to install, delete macintosh HD-library-receipts-notebook app. and then follow the directions

Thanks for the step by step instructions. I asked another person at school who had downloaded notebook 10 on her mac laptop running 10.4 (same as me) and she did not have to download the toolkit- it had downloaded automatically. I was very surprised about this. I have no idea why some of us would need to do this extra step and others do not. Hmmm....
