SMART Board Revolution

A Revolution in Education

I have some in production, but I need more ideas of what you need. Is there something that you would like to see covered? Let me know and I'll get to it.

Just wondering if you will be adding any videos about some of the new features in Notebook 10?

Yes. As I discover and figure them out, I will. Any requests? I was playing with the table last night. I think that may be the first one. At first glance, the table looks pretty limited, but there's a lot under the hood. Finding it isn't as intuitive as excel.

I love the idea that many of the features are more image friendly- since my students need the visual supports. So I'd like it if you could demonstrate how to use some of the tools with images- like the image dice, balloon pop, and the random image tool. Thanks Matt- you're GREAT!

Now that it's summer, I'll see what I can do.

Maybe some vids on how to use the SMART Recorder and video player effectively? I find that many teachers don't even know they exist. Maybe also how to export notebook files and why you would? just some thoughts.

nb: just found the one on the video player, so ignore that suggestion! :-)

Export notebook files??? Do you mean to Power Point?

I have a suggestion. I'd love one on importing charts and graphs. I am having difficulty importing charts/graphs from word into notebook files. I saw there is a way to create them in notebook, but only to a size of five by five or so. I haven't tried importing from excel because I had reached my frustration level. Now here's the real kicker... I created a graph and imported it to a notebook file about a month ago, but I can't for the life of me get it to work again. I'm not sure if I'm doing something different, if the new charts have something different about them, or if I'm just losing too many brain cells at a ridiculously rapid rate.
